Tracy “Trace” Mikulec has more than a decade of experience helping clients and partners become more successful through creative ventures is an interactive marketing visionary. When he established his strategic marketing and web development firm in 1995, he brought his creative vision and an unparalleled spirit of collaboration to every project, regardless of size. Trace maintains client partnerships, oversees Immersion Media’s executive management team and directs the company's long-range vision. Immersion Media’s clients value Trace’s ability to see the big picture while understanding the intricacies of an immediate situation that requires action. Thus, he's adept at identifying their long-term issues while addressing constantly changing market conditions.
Trace co-founded World Oceans Media, a $10 million entrepreneurial publishing company that pioneered the concept of action sports magazines and later extended its successful brands into television and the Internet. He has also served as a creative lead at the ad agency Harris, Drury, Cohen, where he established and managed a full-service creative and production department. He also worked as a senior producer and executive at the new media network Bluetorch, where he developed many innovative technologies, including interactive television applications, live international web-streaming events and other emerging technologies that made integrated sponsorship/media packages possible.
Trace is also active as a volunteer in several charitable and nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as chair of the technical committee for the Surfing Heritage Foundation.
Trace's 20-year career in media and marketing runs the gamut from advertising, print publishing, television and events. He graduated from Flagler College with with a bachelor’s degree in commercial art.
